Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the level of applying entrepreneurship by postgraduate students at Jordanian public universities and the role of educational leaders in its development. The study used a questionnaire to collect data and distributed it to a sample that consisted of 461 male and female postgraduate students enrolled at the Faculty of Education at the following Jordanian public universities: Yarmouk University; the University of Jordan; Al - Bayt University and Mutah University. The results showed that entrepreneurship was applied with a moderate level among postgraduate students at Jordanian public universities. The role of educational leaders in the development of entrepreneurship among postgraduate students came in a moderate degree. The results also showed statistical differences in the role of educational leaders in the development of entrepreneurship among postgraduate students from their perspective due to the variable of education level, in favor of fourth year students. The study recommended organizing seminars and workshops for students on leadership and entrepreneurship to encourage students apply pioneer practices and initiatives.
