Abstract
The study aimed to explore the relationship between the concept of the self and motivation achievement among a random sample of 100 of cleaning workers in Hebron Governorate and to identify the differences in both the concept of the self and motivation achievement with respect to the place of residence and the monthly income. The descriptive approach was used in the study and two study tools (the concept of the self- survey and motivation achievement scale) were applied on the participants of the study. Data was collected and analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed a positive relationship between the concept of the self and achievement motivation, and showed a low level of the concept of the self and a low level of achievement motivation. Moreover, the results showed no statistically significant differences between the concept of the self and achievement motivation among the cleaners due to the place of residence, while differences were statistically significant in motivation achievement due to the average monthly income of the sample and for the benefit of people with high incomes.
