Abstract
The aim of this study is to identify the role of Nablus EducationalArea of the UNRWA in the crises management of the school academicyear (2014/ 2015) , and to investigate the effect of the variables of gender,specialty, educational qualification, nature of work and years of service inthe evaluation of the role of Nablus Educational Area in crises management.Researchers used a questionnaire as a tool for the study, which consistedof (36) items that are divided into four areas: crises sensor, planning forcrises, responding to crises and taking advantage of the crisis. Researcherschecked the validity, stability and reliability of the tools used in thestudy (Cronbach›s alpha) (0.96) . The study sample consisted of (42) ofmanagers, deputies and counselors. The descriptive survey methodologyis used. The results showed a very high degree for the advantage of crisesafter they happened, the field of crisis response and planning for crises,but a medium degree for the field sensor crises. The study assumptionsshowed the existence of differences on the field of planning and sensorcrisis. The variable sex is in favor of males, but there are no significantstatistical differences on the variable of specialization, qualifications,nature of work and years of service. The researchers recommended thateducationists should be benefited from the experiences, plans and practicesof Arab and foreign education institutions that were exposed to crises andto provide institutions with database and technological means to predict theoccurrence of crises.
