Abstract
The aim of this paper is to know the effectiveness of similar strategy in theachievement and smart thinking towards mathematics and geography at thefourth- grade students of literary stream. The sample consisted of 40 studentswho were divided into two groups equally, the first is the experimental formath and geography and the second is the control group. The first tool in thesearch measures the achievement test and the second measures the habitsof mind. Appropriate statistical methods are used and their validity andreliability are tested. The results of the research are:1. no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between theaverage achievement test scores posttest between the experimental groupand the control group and the experimental group.2. no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the meanscores of the experimental group and the control group on the smartthinking and the experimental group scale.
