Abstract
This study aims to explain the relationship between violent electronicgames and aggressive behavior and social behavior in preschool childrenfrom their parents’ perspective.To achieve the objectives of the study, theresearchers prepared a questionnaire including two parts: the aggressivebehavior and the social behavior.The questionnaire was distributed to asample of (100) of kindergarten children’s parents in Amman during thesecond semester of the academic year 2013/ 2014.The results indicated thatthere is a strong relationship between violent electronic games and aggressivebehavior, but not with the social behavior among kindergarten children inAmman according to the parents’ point of view.The study recommendededucating parents to know the pros and cons of electronic games and educateand instruct the children about the consequences of violent electronic gameson the children’s behavior.
