Abstract
This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of atraining program based on (TRIZ) theory of inventiveproblem solving on developing the decision- makingskill of female tenth graders in Ajloun Governorate,To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcherdeveloped scale of the decision- making skill withappropriate reliability and validity indices. Thetraining program based on (TRIZ) theory wereused in the study. The study sample consisted of(71) tenth Grade female students. The school waschosen with deliberate method, and two out of fivesections were randomly chosen; one section (35)students was treated as an experimental group,and the other (36) students as a control group. Theresearcher used training program consisted of (18)sessions have (90) minutes with experimental group,and the researcher didn't use any treatment withcontrol group. The results of the study sowed thestatistically significant effect for training programbased on (TRIZ) theory on developing the decisionmakingskill of female tenth graders in all domains,and as a whole of tool, in favor of experimentalgroup. The results also showed there was highdegree of retention in the decision- making skill,and it showed there were not statistically significantdifferences between post measurement, and followuptest on the experimental group.
