Abstract

This study examined the role of the Palestinian police College in Gaza City in improving leadership skills among its students, to achieve the objective of the study, researchers used the analytical descriptive method. The study used the questionnaire as a tool for gathering information, consisted of (47) items, distributed on five dimensions .The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (150( students, it has been selected at random stratified. It was conducted statistical packages for Social Studies (SPSS) program.Analysis of results 1. The practice degree of Police Faculty in Gaza in improving leadership skills to its students was with(%70.80) a relative weight and with availability of a large extent.2. For areas on the relative weights in descending order: the field of "personal skills" (78.20%), and the field of "management skills" (77.20%), and the field of "technical skills" (75.00%), and the field of "human skills" (65.80%); The field of "intellectual skills" (62.60%)3. There are statistically significant differences among the respondents attributed to the program (Diploma - BA) in favor of bachelor's, and academic level for the benefit of students of the fourth level..The researcher's major recommendations were:-The need to strengthen the leadership skills of the students of the Police College.-Stimulate and encourage the development of police cadets to acquire leadership skills system.
