Abstract
Groundwater is the reserve for surface water in the study area for areas far from the Euphrates River, groundwater is represented by (15) ground basins and ten candidate areas for agricultural investment, and scientific studies of the region indicate the presence of groundwater storage suitable for even medical uses in the northern desert near the Syrian border, The groundwater is represented by the wells that were drilled in five areas (Al-Hammad, Al-Hajar, al wadian al aulia, al wadian al sufla, and Gezira).
