Abstract

The study aimed to detect the impact of employing electronic boards in the settlement of intellectual security and self-discipline among the first intermediate class stage students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The study employed the quasi-experimental method by applying the intellectual security scale and self-discipline one on first intermediate class students in Qurayat Governorate. The intellectual security scale consisted of (9) domains with (55) items while the self-discipline scale consistted of (30) items distributed among (60) randomly chosen students. The students were distributed into experimental group of (30) students and a control group of (30) students who were chosen randomly.

The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences in the means of the two groups related to the intellectual security scale in post application in favor of the experimental group. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the means of the two groups related to the self-discipline scale in post application due to the group type and in favor of the experimented group. The researchers recommended using the electronic boards in the process of teaching and learning.
