Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this study was to achieving effectiveness of counseling program based on narrative exposure therapy in reducing symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in a sample of torture. The study sample consisted of (30) men victims of torture from Syria and Iraq who were suffer of (PTSD) for Noor Al Hussein foundation, the researcher used a semi-experimental approach for two groups witch randomly and equally of the study sample, (15) men each group, one of the two groups was a control and the other is experimental. A (PTSD) scale applied for the experimental group only contained two stander (pre & post), a month after the program was completed, and the scale was applied to the experimental in a follow-up measure. The results also showed significant differenees between the experimental and control group on (PTSD) scale in favor of the experimental group that had decreased symptoms of the dysfunction, and the improvement continues after a month of treatment, which indicates for the effectiveness of the applied therapeutic program.

ملخص: هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التحقق من فاعلية برنامج مستند إلى علاج التعريض بالسرد في خفض أعراض اضطراب ضغط ما بعد الصدمة لدى عينة من ضحايا التعذيب, وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (30) رجلاً من ضحايا التعذيب من السوريين والعراقيين الذين يراجعون مؤسسة نور الحسين والمشخصين بأنهم يعانون من أعراض اضطراب ضغط ما بعد الصدمة,وقد استخدمت الباحثة المنهج شبه التجريبي, وتم توزيع أفراد العينة عشوائياً إلى مجموعتين متساويتين تضم كل مجموعة (15) رجلا احداهما ضابطة والأخرى تجريبية وطبق على المجموعتين مقياس اضطراب ضغط ما بعد الصدمة في قياسين قبلي وبعدي وطبق البرنامج العلاجي على المجموعة التجريبية فقط وبعد شهر من انتهاء البرنامج تم تطبيق المقياس على المجموعة التجريبية في قياس للمتابعة.أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية بين درجات أفراد المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة على مقياس اضطراب ضغط ما بعد الصدمة ,وكانت الفروق لصالح المجموعة التجريبية التي انخفضت لديها أعراض الإضطراب واستمرارية التحسن بعد شهر المعالجة, مما يشير إلى فعالية البرنامج العلاجي المستخدم.
