Abstract

Abstract: The present study aimed at verifying the impact of teaching using educational software in the achievement of the fourth grade students and their higher thinking skills in the Wadi Al-Sir Directorate of Education in the field of social and national education compared to the regular method. The study was conducted on a random sample of 60 female students in the elementary fourth grade in the first semester for the academic year 2018/2019. The sample is divided into two equal groups , where every group include 30 students, the first group studied by using the regular method and the other group studied by using the experimental method, Two tests were conducted, one for achievement and the other for higher thinking skills. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the performance means of the two groups according to the method of teaching (the regular method, the educational software method) on the achievement test and the test of higher thinking skills for the experimental group. As a result, the researcher recommended the using educational software in the teaching of social and national education curricula for their impact on increasing the achievement of students and their higher thinking skills, as well as training and guiding teachers to design and develop educational software in the field of the curriculum they study.

ملخص: هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التحقق من أثر استخدام برمجية تعليمية في تحصيل طالبات الصف الرابع الأساسي ومهارات التفكير العليا لديهن في تربية لواء وادي السير في مادة التربية الاجتماعية والوطنية مقارنة بالطريقة الاعتيادية, وأجريت الدراسة على عينة عشوائية مكونة من 60 طالبة من طالبات الصف الرابع الأساسي في الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الدراسي 2018 /2019, وقسّمت العينة بالتساوي على مجموعتين بواقع 30 طالبة لكل مجموعة, درست إحداهما بالطريقة الاعتيادية والأخرى تجريبية درست باستخدام البرمجية التعليمية, تم إعداد اختبارين أحدهما للتحصيل والآخر لمهارات التفكير العليا, وبعد تحليل البيانات أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات أداء مجموعتي الدراسة باختلاف الطريقة المستخدمة (الطريقة الاعتيادية, باستخدام البرمجية التعليمية) على الاختبار التحصيلي واختبار مهارات التفكير العليا لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. وفي ضوء النتائج أوصى الباحث باستخدام البرمجيات التعليمية في تدريس مناهج التربية الاجتماعية والوطنية لأثرها في زيادة تحصيل الطالبات ومهارات التفكير العليا لديهن, وتدريب وتوجيه المعلمين على تصميم وتطوير برمجيات تعليمية في مجال المناهج التي يدرسونها.
