Abstract

Abstract:

This study aimed at finding out the level of the nature of the relationship of the parents with each of their gifted and non-gifted children from the point of view of parents and the impact of some variables on that relationship, The study sample reached (400) from the parents of the students from King Abdullah II schools for excellence from the lower, middle and higher levels, and a scale of the nature of the parents’ relationship with their children was applied, the two researchers used the descriptive approach, and the data was analyzed using appropriate statistical methods the results showed that the level of parents’ relationship with each of their gifted and non-gifted children was high, and also showed statistically significant differences between the means of the level of parents’ relationship with their children according to variable gifted and non-gifted in favor of gifted children, There were statistically significant differences (α = 0.05) between the means of the level of parents’ relationship with their gifted children according to the educational level of the parents in favor of the parents at postgraduate level compared to the diploma level. whereas the gender variable of the gifted children, there were no differences, nor there were statistically significant differences between the means of the level of Parents' relationship with their non- gifted children according to gender variable, and parents’ educational level variable.

هدفت هذه الدراسة لمعرفة مستوى طبيعة علاقة الوالدين بكل من أبنائهم المتميزين وغير المتميزين من وجهة نظر الوالدين وأثر بعض المتغيرات على تلك العلاقة, وتكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع آباء وأمهات طلبة مدارس الملك عبد الله الثاني للتميز من المرحلة الدنيا والمتوسطة والعليا في الأردن خلال الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام 2019/ 2020م, وتكونت العينة من (400) من آباء وأمهات الطلبة, وتم تطبيق مقياس طبيعة علاقة الوالدين بأبنائهم, وأظهرت النتائج أن مستوى علاقة الوالدين بكل من أبنائهم المتميزين وغير المتميزين كانت مرتفعة, كما أظهرت فروقا ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لمستوى علاقة الوالدين بأبنائهم تبعا لمتغير نوع الابن(عادي, متميز) لصالح الأبناء المتميزين, ووجدت فروق دالة إحصائيًا لمستوى علاقة الوالدين بأبنائهم المتميزين تبعاً للمستوى التعليمي للوالدين لصالح الوالدين من فئة دراسات عليا مقارنة بفئة دبلوم, أما لمتغير جنس الأبناءالمتميزين فلم توجد فروق, كما لم توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المتوسطات الحسابية لمستوى علاقة الوالدين بأبنائهم غير المتميزين تبعا لمتغيري جنس الأبناءغير المتميزين والمستوى التعليمي للوالدين.
