Abstract

ThepresentstudyaimedattheidentificationofthecontributionoftheteachersofSciences,SocialstudiesandIslamicEducationtotheenhancementofthecommunicativeskillsofbasictenthgradersinBaniKinanatheEducationalDirectorateandtheeffectofthevariablesgender,specializationvariablesaswellastheirinteractionbetweenthem.Thestudywasadministeredonasampleconsistingof22maleteachersand23females(15)teachersfromeachgroup,totaling45chosenrandomlyfrombasictenthgradersschools.Theresearchersdevelopedandadministeredaquestionnaireof26items;eachitemrepresentingcertainteachingtechniquerelatedtothegivenmajorskill.Theitemswereratedonathreelevelscalepointingthecontributionleveloftheteacherstotheenhancementofthetargetskillofthestudents.Theresultsshowedsignificanteffectsofthesubjectteachersinimprovingthethreecommunicativeskills,withspeakingfirst,readingsecond,andwritingthird.Theresultsalsorevealedastaticallysignificanteffectat(&=0.05)ontheimprovementofconversationduetospecialization,namelytheteachersofSocialStudiesandIslamicEducation.Inaddition,improvementinreadingwasstatisticallysignificantat(&=0.05)duetosex,thefemaleteachersoutperformedthemaleteachers,meanwhilenostatisticallysignificanteffectwasshownduetotheinteractionbetweensexandspecialization
