Abstract
ThisstudyaimsatidentifyingtheperformancelevelofschoolsocialcounselorsaccordingtotheviewofgovernmentschoolsprincipalsandteachersintheRamallahdistrict.ThestudypopulationconsistsofallgovernmentschoolsprincipalsandteachersintheRamallahdistrict,whosetotalnumberforallstudystagesis1303.Thesample,whichconsistsof260principalsandteachers(maleandfemales)represents20%ofthewholepopulation.Teachersforgrades7,8and9(totaling1303)arespecificallytargetedinthisstudy.Theresearcherhasusedaself-designedquestionnaireconsistingof40items.Itsvalidityhasbeenexaminedbyanumberofspecialistsinordertoensurelanguageaccuracyandtheappropriatenessofitemstotheobjectivestheyaredesignedfor.Thealphafortheoverallreliabilityis0.89,whichisappropriateandreliableforthestudyobjectives.Thestudyfindingsarethefollowing:♦♦Therearestatisticallyvaluabledifferencesatthelevel(a<0.05)intheperformanceleveloftheschoolsocialcounseloraccordingtotheviewofgovernmentschoolprincipalsandteachersinRamallahBranchattributedtotheteachergendervariable.Thedifferencesareforthebenefitofthefemales.♦♦Therearenostatisticallyvaluabledifferencesatthelevel(a<0.05)intheperformanceleveloftheschoolsocialcounseloraccordingtotheviewofgovernmentschoolprincipalsandteachersinRamallahBranchattributedtothequalificationvariable.♦♦Therearenostatisticallyvaluabledifferencesatthelevel(a<0.05)intheperformanceleveloftheschoolsocialcounseloraccordingtotheviewofgovernmentschoolprincipalsandteachersinRamallahBranchattributedtothetypeofposition.♦♦Therearenostatisticallyvaluabledifferencesatthelevel(a<0.05)intheperformanceleveloftheschoolsocialcounseloraccordingtotheviewofgovernmentschoolprincipalsandteachersinRamallahBranchattributedtotheschoolslevel.♦♦Therearenostatisticallyvaluabledifferencesatthelevel(a<0.05)intheperformanceleveloftheschoolsocialcounseloraccordingtotheviewofgovernmentschoolprincipalsandteachersinRamallahBranchattributedtotheperiodofexperience
