Abstract
The aim of the study was to reveal the effectiveness of a training program based on differential education in developing the differential learning skills of the teachers of primary sciences. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared a list of differentiated learning skills required by teachers of sciences for the elementary levels. The quasi-experimental approach was used. The sample included the science teachers for the fifth grade for the academic year 2017-2016 AD(1437-1438 AH) at the Education Office in Jubail. Fifteen teachers received the training program, and their performance was measured via pre and post-training by testing the skills of differentiated education prepared by the researcher. The results showed that there are statistically significant differences between the pre and post-test application for the differential teaching skills of the teachers in favor of the post-application, and there is great effectiveness of the training program in developing the teachers› differential learning skills. Consequently, the researcher recommended the importance of taking courses and training programs for teachers in differentiated education.
