Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of cognitivebehavioral program in the development of emotional intelligence and learningmotivation among a sample of students with disruptive behaviors. To answerthe study questions, a sample of (44) male and female students were chosenfrom those having a disruptive behaviors. The study sample was randomlydivided into two groups, an experimental group consisting of (22) male andfemale students have been subjected to the training program, and a controlgroup consisting of (22) male and female students were not exposed to theprogram. Three measures were also used in this study: The first is the Arabicversion of emotional intelligence scale. The second measure is the Arabicversion of learning motivation scale. The third measure is the DisruptiveBehavior Rating Scale. The results showed the effect of the training programon improving emotional intelligence and learning motivation of the studysample in favor of the experimental group. The results also showed thatthere are no significant differences at the level of (α ≤0.05) in the EmotionalIntelligence scale And Learning Motivation scale of the study sampleattributed to sex and the interaction between the group and sex.Key words: Cognitive Behavioral Program, Emotional Intelligence,Learning Motivation, Disruptive Behaviors.
