Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the nature of the relationshipbetween emotional intelligence and aspiration level among Yarmouk universitystudents .The sample of the study consisted of (1198) male and femalestudents from Yarmouk University selected purposefully from the studentsregistered in the university requirements courses .The study administrated twoquestionnaires, emotional intelligence scale and aspiration level scale .Thefindings of the study showed that there are significant statistical differencesin the level of emotional intelligence and level of aspiration attributed togender variable in favor of males .Moreover, there are significant statisticaldifferences in the level of emotional intelligence and level of aspirationattributed to college variable in favor of scientific colleges .There were nosignificant statistical differences in the level of emotional intelligence andlevel of aspiration attributed to the study level .Finally, the findings showedthat there is a correlation relationship between emotional intelligence andlevel of aspiration .
