Level of Students Violence at the Faculty of Huson at Balqa Applied University in Jordan
Abstract
This study aimed at exploring the level of students’ violence amongBalqa Applied University, and whether this level varies depending onstudents’ gender and academic specialization .The sample consisted of (267)students from the Faculty of Huson at Balqa Applied University from thesecond semester of the academic year (2013- 2014) from engineering andeducation specializations .The study results showed that the level of students’violence was low, with no significant differences in the level of students’violence related to the sex factor, but significant differences were found inthe level of students’ violence related to physical factor and sex in favor ofmales .Significant differences were found in the level of students’ violencerelated to verbal and physical factors related to specialization and in favorof administrative .
