Abstract
This study aimed at recognizing the effect of applying academicaccreditation in the Faculty of Education in King Saud University on theperformance of its staff members from their point of view .The researcher usedthe descriptive approach by developing a questionnaire and distributing it ona sample which includes all the staff members at the Faculty of Education inKing Saud University (366) during the second semester of the academic year2013/ 2014 .Results revealed that the score of the effect of applying academicaccreditation on the performance of staff members was medium as the meanscore was (3.45) .The domain of scientific research came first with (3.86).Social service came second with (3.82) and teaching performance with(2.68) .Results showed that there were no statistically significant differencesbetween mean scores of staff members’ responses related to experience oracademic position .
