Abstract

This study aims to identify life satisfaction of released prisoners deportedto Gaza Strip and its relationship with future anxiety.It also aims to identifythe personal differences among released prisoners deported to Gaza stripin life satisfaction, and identify the personal differences among releasedprisoners deported to Gaza strip in future anxiety.To achieve the aims ofthis study objectives analytical descriptive approach was used.The studypopulation are the 153 prisoners who are released and deported to the GazaStrip according to the agreement of Loyalty to Freemen (Wafa El- Ahrar) .The study sample was of 103 prisoners who were selected by stratifiedsample and applied the study tools on them.The study tools were a measureof life satisfaction prepared by the researchers, which includes 79 itemsdistributed on seven domains and future anxiety, which includes 46 items.The study results show the following:1. Life satisfaction level of released prisoners deported to the Gaza Strip is(77.45%) , and this is a medium precentage.2. Relations are arragned as follows: Social relation domain with (84.38%), recognition social domain with (83.93%) , the satisfaction domain with(82.11%) , the happiness domain (78.31%) , life satisfaction domain with(75.69%) , reassurance domain with (71.04%) , and finally health lifesatisfaction domain with (67.49%) .3. Future anxiety level of released prisoners deported to Gaza Strip is(62.38%) which is the least among other domains.4. The study results show that there are no statistically significantrelationships between life satisfaction and future anxiety among releasedprisoners deported Gaza Strip.5. The study results show that there were no statistical differences significantdifferences in life satisfaction among released prisoners deported to GazaStrip due to age, number of arrests, years of arrest, marital status.But there aredifferences due to political affiliation, and in this case to Hamas Movement.6. The study results show that there were no statistical significant differencesin future anxiety for released prisoners deported to Gaza Strip due toage, number of arrests, years of arrest, and marital status, but there aredifferences due to political affiliation, and in this case Fath Movement.Researchers recommend doing more studies about the satisfaction ofdeported prisoners and its relation with other variables.
