Abstract

This study aimed to explore the degree ofpracticing the principals of the secondary schoolsto their supervision tasks in Salfeet Governoratefrom both principals and teachers viewpoint. Alsoit aimed to find out whether there were differencesin both principals and teachers responds due to thevariables (Sex, Age, Scientific qualification, Periodof service , and specialization). To achieve thepurpose of the study and test the study hypothesis,the researchers used the analytical descriptivemethodology and statistical package for socialsciences (SPSS) , including arithmetic mediations,standard deviations and ANOVA. And to collectthe necessary data, the researchers prepared twoquestionnaires which were valid and reliablewith coefficient 95% and 94% and then they weredistributed to the sample of the study which was30 principals formed 50% of the population and101 teachers formed 30% of the population. Theprincipal questionnaire was formed of (45) itemsdivided to four axes: Manageria Planning, TechnicalDevelopment, Human Relations and CurriculumDevelopment. The teachers' questionnaire wasformed of (35) divided to four axes: Managerial,Technical axes, social and innovation. By analyzingthe collected data, the study revealed:1. The degree of practicing the principals of thesecondary schools their supervision tasks insalfeet governorate schools from the principalsand teachers viewpoint at statistical level(a≤0.05) was high degree2. There are no significant differences in bothresponds of the principals and teachers ofsecondary schools in Salffet Governorate atstatistical level (a≤0.05) toward the degreeof practicing the principals of the secondaryschools their supervision tasks attributed tothe variables (Sex, Age, Scientific qualification,Period of service , and specialization). Inthe light of study results, the researcherrecommended the following:♦♦ Facilitate communication between principalsand instructional administration at Ministry ofEducation.♦♦ Increase the administrative powers of principalsto look after the talents and enable them to joinlessons in the higher classes.♦♦ Hold workshops and make presentations ofideal classes using developed techniques forteachers.
