Abstract

The study aimed at identifying the mathematics’teachers attitude in Jordan toward using socialmedia (facebook) in teaching mathematics, thesample of the study consists of (80) male and femaleteachers that forms (50%) of the total populationof the of the study (160) male and female teachers,those who teach high elementary stage in NorthEast Badia Directorate. The sample was chosen instratified random method, due to the nature of thestudy descriptive method was used and to achievethe study’s outcomes trends scale was set upconsisting of (27) items, reliability and validity ofthe scale was examined.The study showed that the attitudes ofmathematics’ teachers in Jordan toward usingsocial media were with high positive degree, therewere no statistically significant differences at thelevel of significance (a = 0.05) due to the variablesex. There were statistically significant differencesat the level of significance (a = 0.05) attributedto the educational qualification variable, and infavor of (graduate) , as well as the presence ofstatistically significant differences at the level ofsignificance (a = 0.05) due to the variable teachingexperience, and for the duration of experience (5years or more).
