Evaluating the Readability of Textbooks of the 12th Grade at the Schools in Gaza Strip
Abstract
Research objectives: Recognizing the degreeof reading factors in reading book for the twelfthgrade in North Gaza regions in terms of sentences,words, ideas, and manners. The researcher used thequestionnaire with reading factors for this researchand it was distributed on the study sample whichcomprised forty- nine teachers who teach Arabiclanguage for twelfth grade. The descriptive wayhas been used for the study of this phenomenon andanalyze it. The most obvious results are:1. The degree of reading factors availability interms of subjects is (67.03%) , this means it is amedium degree.2. The degree of reading factors availability interms of sentences is (68.43%) that means it is amedium degree.3. The degree of reading factors availability interms of words is (71.31%) that means it is ahigh degree.4. The degree of reading factors availability interms of ideas is (71.58%) that means it is ahigh degree.5. The degree of reading factors availability interms of manner is (72.51%) that means it is ahigh degree.6. There are differences attributed to variable ofservice years, for the advantage of more thanfive and less than ten years of service.
