Abstract

The study aimed to know the reality ofprofessional development for teachers in CentralRegion Schools in Jordan, from the view ofmanagers, and supervisors and design a model todevelop teachers professionally. The study sampleconsisted of (482) as director and supervisor, forthe academic year (2015/ 2014). An analysis of thestudy data was crried out, and averages in additionto standard deviations, and T- test were used. Theresults showed that the estimate of the study sampleto the reality of professional development forteachers of Central Region Schools in Jordan was(high). In addition, results showed a statisticallysignificant difference in the reality of professionaldevelopment for teachers of Central Region Schoolsin Jordan, due to the variable (job type) , in favorof (males) , and variable (sex) in favor of (femalemanagers and educational supervisors).The study concluded «Developed Model forProfessional development of Teachers of CentralRegion Schools in Jordan».
