Abstract
This study aimed at exploring the level of academic procrastination and academic self-concept in a sample of Irbid National University students in the light of some variables. The study sample consisted of 286 male and female students. The results showed that the level of both academic procrastination and academic self-concept came to a moderate degree. The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the level of academic procrastination in regard to gender in favor of males and in regard to the GPA in favor of grades between 50- 60, while the results did not show differences in the academic procrastination related to the specialization variable . The study showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of academic self-concept related to: gender, specialization, and GPA. The results indicated a positive relationship between academic procrastination and academic self-concept as a whole.
