Abstract
This study aimed to identify the degree to which First Basic Level students at Al-Quds Open University (QOU) apply the Practical Education Course (2) from the perspectives of school principals and cooperating teachers in the schools of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate. To achieve this, a two-axis questionnaire was developed: the first axis pertains to the preparation of teaching plans within the Practical Education Course (2), while the second axis deals with the application of educational activities in Practical Education (2). The study was conducted with the entire population consisting of 50 principals and 62 cooperating teachers, with 43 principals and 55 teachers responding to the questionnaire. Among the conclusions drawn from the study is that there are no differences in the degree to which First Basic Level students at QOU apply the Practical Education Course (2) based on gender, specialization, educational qualifications, or job title. The study recommends that the university should send its students to cooperating schools where there are experienced principals and highly qualified cooperating teachers who can effectively assist prospective teachers in preparing educational plans, applying educational activities in Practical Education (2), and conducting lessons proficiently.
