Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of emotional stability among applied psychology students at Princess Rahma University College in light of the variable of average monthly income of their families. The study sample consisted of 24 students. An emotional stability scale, consisting of 27 items, was used to measure the levels of emotional stability. The results showed that the level of emotional stability among applied psychology students at Princess Rahma University College was moderate, with a mean of 2.90 and a standard deviation of 0.39. The results also indicated that there were statistically significant differences (ɑ ≤ 0.05) favoring applied psychology students in the average monthly income category of 751 - 999 JD compared to the rest of the study sample in other average monthly income categories.
