Abstract

This study examines the role of geopolitics as a science focused on understanding its impact on forming comprehensive state strategies. It investigates how the economic, human, and political potentials of countries are leveraged through geopolitics to enhance their influence on the global stage. Geopolitical science has garnered significant international interest due to its relevance in global interactions and events within the international system. This interest underscores the importance of sharing and expanding international influence, particularly among major global powers, across various world regions. To tackle this research problem, an analytical descriptive approach was employed. This involved outlining geopolitics as a science and its impact on global interactions, providing a vital framework for analyzing how comprehensive state strategies can be developed. The study aims to reveal the attributes of state capabilities by linking geopolitical theory and practice. The results aim to assess the role of geopolitics in strategic studies, focusing on providing clear insights into political strategies. The study highlights the critical role of geopolitics in strategic planning, especially when decision-makers consider it as a foundational science that can justify political actions and movements. Geopolitics has become a cornerstone for developing state strategies in a modern context, based on numerous events, particularly in the dynamics of states within the international system.
