Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of project-based and problem-based learning strategies in supporting interior design courses at the university level. The study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology to achieve its objectives and answer its research questions. The results concluded that non-traditional strategies such as project-based and problem-based learning are important tools for enhancing the outcomes of teaching interior design courses at the university level. Additionally, the findings indicated that the effectiveness of any strategy depends on the nature of the learning task. The researcher recommends implementing these strategies in university interior design courses, along with providing necessary training to ensure their optimal application.
