Abstract
This study explores the passionate dimension and its effect on the formation of the structure of the literary narrative discourse, based on the rules and principles adopted by researchers in the field of narrative semantics, foremost among them Algridas Julien Greimas. The study seeks to follow procedural elements to analyze the narrative structure of the passionate dimension and its stages of formation through adopted pathways that may reveal the semantic implications behind the structural levels that constitute the narrative text. With this pathway-based perspective, which underpins the narrative analysis of the alluring dimension, the analyst—regardless of their methodological affiliation—can discern the peripheral influence of allure in the constructive formation of the narrative discourse. This is achieved through a pathway-based and mechanistic tracing of theoretical and methodological propositions in narrative semiotics, where the primary factor plays a crucial role in producing human semantic meaning from the deep level where alluring blocks reside and branch out. These blocks manifest and surface at the superficial level, which, in turn, represents the practical roles of the discursive and narrative components.
