Abstract
The present article aims to explore Mohammad Al-Khadr Hussein’s thoughts regarding the virtue of the Arabic language and methods for its development. Hussein is considered a model pioneer linguist of Arabic during a significant stage in modern times. By employing the linguistic views stated in his essays, he played a reformative role in politics, sociology, Arab culture, and within the Arabic Language Complex. It is concluded that Hussein firmly believed in the language's contribution to the Arab nation’s life, Pan-Arab unity and security, and its influence on human civilization. Arabic enjoys a unique ability to cope with modernity, due to its flexible internal rules, phenomena, and measures, which facilitate the incorporation of any innovation.
