Abstract
The study aimed to examine the effect of a proposed educational program based on active learning in developing creative thinking skills among seventh-grade students in Jordan. The study adopted a quasi-experimental approach, utilizing an experimental group and a control group. The main research tool was a creative thinking scale developed by the researcher, whose validity and reliability were confirmed through appropriate statistical methods. The sample consisted of 68 seventh-grade students from Abdellatif Abidin Primary School in Marka Directorate of Education. The experimental group, consisting of 34 students, studied the units "Household Electrical Wiring" and "Traffic Awareness" using the proposed active learning program, while the control group, also with 34 students, studied the same units through traditional methods. The Creative Thinking Test was administered before and after the intervention. The results indicated a statistically significant difference in the post-test scores between the two groups, favoring the experimental group (α=0.05). Based on these findings, the researcher presented recommendations and proposals.
