Abstract

The study aimed to identify the major factors affecting the creativity of students of Arts and Design education, as well as to pinpoint the factors that influence the development or absence of creativity among these students. The study sample consisted of 1,030 Arts and Design students from private Jordanian universities, according to statistics from the Ministry of Higher Education. Students were randomly selected from the academic community, representing approximately 30% of the study population. The survey responses revealed that factors related to educational institutions are the most influential on students’ creativity, while factors related to the students themselves were considered the least influential. The study recommended promoting awareness of the importance of the Design major in the College of Arts at private universities. It also urged faculty members in the College of Arts to rely on creative teaching techniques and diversify their methods to enhance the educational experience.
