Abstract
This study aimed to identify the objective research trends in language education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (An analytical study of master's theses and doctoral dissertations). To achieve the aim of the study, the researchers followed the descriptive approach using content analysis method of all theses and dissertations in learning and teaching Arabic language were analyzed that approved by Umm Al-Qura University from (1976-2019), totaling (231) theses and dissertations. The results of frequencies and percentages several objective trends in the curriculum, the learner, the teacher, and the branches of language and its skills. Considering these results, several recommendations were presented, which are: directing researchers to target the kindergarten stage in general education, and the postgraduate stage in university education, and paying attention to study prosody.
