Abstract
This study aimed to identify the degree to which secondary school teachers in Jahra Governorate schools in the State of Kuwait practice the Shura method from the students' perspective. The study relied on the descriptive survey method, and the researchers developed a questionnaire to measure the level of commitment of secondary school teachers in Jahra Governorate schools to the Shura method. The study population consisted of 18,000 male and female students, with the sample comprising 430 students. The results of the study indicated that the degree of teachers’ practice of the Shura method, as perceived by students, was at a high level. Additionally, the results revealed statistically significant differences in the extent to which teachers practiced the Shura method based on the variable of gender, favoring female teachers. However, there were no statistically significant differences concerning the variables of academic level and grade level. The researchers recommend that the Ministry of Education in the State of Kuwait strengthen the Shura method within the educational process and continue to promote its practice.
