Abstract

This study aimed to uncover the role of kindergarten teachers in reducing aggressive behaviors among children in Jerash Governorate from the perspectives of principals and teachers. The descriptive survey approach was utilized, and the study sample consisted of 334 principals and teachers. An electronic questionnaire was employed as the study tool. The results indicated that the role of kindergarten teachers in reducing aggressive behaviors in children was significant, rated at a high degree. Regarding statistical differences, the results revealed no significant differences related to the kindergarten variable, educational qualification, or job title. However, statistically significant differences were found based on years of experience, with differences favoring the categories of 5 to less than 10 years and 10 years and over. The study recommended utilizing the experience of seasoned kindergarten teachers to train new and less experienced teachers in managing children's behaviors and communicating with parents about their children's behavior.
