Abstract
This study aimed to assess the degree of satisfaction among government school principals in Irbid Governorate regarding the performance of educational counselors in light of the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to determine if there were significant statistical differences based on the variables of gender, years of experience, and qualifications regarding principals' assessments of their satisfaction levels. The researchers used a descriptive methodology, and the study sample consisted of 226 principals. To achieve these objectives, a questionnaire consisting of 33 items was developed. The results indicated that the degree of satisfaction among government school principals in Irbid Governorate regarding the performance of educational counselors in light of the Coronavirus outbreak was moderate. Furthermore, the results revealed that there were no significant statistical differences in principals' assessments of their satisfaction levels concerning the performance of educational counselors based on the study variables (gender, years of experience, and qualifications). The researchers recommended a set of recommendations, including holding specialized training courses for educational counselors to familiarize them with online counseling.
