Abstract
This study aimed to identify the levels of alexithymia and perceived self-efficacy and to explore the nature of the relationship between alexithymia and perceived self-efficacy among abused women in Jordan. The study sample consisted of 300 abused women, selected using a random sampling method. To achieve the objectives of the study, the assessment was conducted among the abused women in Jordan. The findings revealed a statistically significant inverse correlation (at α ≤ 0.05) between the level of perceived self-efficacy and the overall degree of alexithymia and its domains in the sample
