Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the extent of cloud computing application usage in the e-learning environment and the obstacles faced by secondary school students in the Capital Governorate of Amman from the perspective of their teachers. The study adopted a descriptive survey method, and a questionnaire, comprising 30 items, was developed to collect data. This questionnaire consisted of two parts: the first to measure the extent of cloud computing application usage in the e-learning environment for secondary school students in the Amman governorate, and the second to identify obstacles related to cloud computing applications in the e-learning environment. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were confirmed. It was administered to an available sample of 294 male and female teachers selected using a simple random method. The results indicated that, from the teachers' perspective, the extent of cloud computing application usage in the e-learning environment for secondary school students in the Capital Governorate of Amman was moderate. Additionally, the study found that the degree of obstacles faced by these students was high according to their teachers. Furthermore, there was no statistically significant difference in the extent of cloud computing application usage in the e-learning environment for secondary school students in the Capital, Amman, from the teachers' perspective, based on the variables of specialization, years of service, and their interaction.
