Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of job security among public school teachers in the Bani Obeid District from their perspective. The descriptive survey method was utilized due to its relevance to the study's objectives, and a sample of 357 male and female teachers was chosen using the simple random method. To achieve the study's objectives, a questionnaire consisting of 24 items was developed to measure the level of job security among teachers. The results indicated that the level of job security for public school teachers in the Bani Obeid District was high. Additionally, the results showed no statistically significant differences at the significance level of α = 0.05 between the arithmetic mean of government school teachers' estimates regarding their level of job security due to the gender variable. However, there were statistically significant differences related to the qualification variables, specifically for those holding a bachelor's degree, and for the variable of years of experience, with a preference for those with less than 10 years of experience.
