Abstract
This study aimed to identify the role of material rewards in the satisfaction of football referees in the Jordanian Federation and to identify differences in levels of financial reward and satisfaction from the referees' perspectives. The researchers used a descriptive approach to address the study's questions. The total number of referees in the Jordanian Federation was 260. The study sample consisted of 71 referees, chosen through purposive sampling, representing 28% of the study population. The researchers used a questionnaire as a data collection tool, and the collected data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS). The results of the study showed no significant differences related to the following variables: scientific qualification, referee degree, referee classification, and referee experience. The researchers recommend that the authorities concerned adopt and use the results of this study to promote and develop the current status of referees.
