Abstract

This study aimed to identify the extent to which public school principals in the Bani Obaid District Education Directorate practice the principles of Reddin's three-dimensional leadership theory and its relationship to teachers' job performance. The study involved 1,310 male and female teachers, with a sample of 300 teachers selected using the convenience sampling method. The results indicated that the practice of leadership principles was at a moderate level, with the domain of duties and tasks ranking first, followed by effectiveness, and lastly human relations. Similarly, the level of job performance among teachers was found to be moderate, with the attitude toward work ranking first, followed by attitude toward students, and finally attitude toward parents. Based on these findings, the researchers recommend developing a leadership guide for school principals that incorporates leadership styles considering modern leadership theories.
