Abstract

The study aimed to identify the extent to which public school principals practice community participation in Ajloun Governorate. The study sample consisted of 99 male and female principals from public schools affiliated with the Education Directorate of Ajloun Governorate. They were selected using a simple random method, and the study employed a descriptive survey approach. The results indicated that the degree to which public school principals practice community participation in Ajloun Governorate, from the principals' perspective, was rated as high. Additionally, the study found no significant differences in the practice of community participation based on the principals' gender. In light of these findings, the study recommended holding training courses and workshops for school principals to enhance community participation. These efforts could help address challenges related to school funding and motivate local community institutions and parents to participate in school committees aimed at improving school performance.
