The Sources of Crises among Al ≠ Quds Open University Students according to the Gender Variable
Abstract
This study is interested in knowing the sources of crises among Al ≠ Quds Open University students by answering the following research questions: What are the relative sizes of crises among QOU students? What is the arrangement sources of crises among male and female QOU students? Are there any significant mean differences between the sources of crises scores related sex variables? To achieve the purpose of the study the researcher selected a random sample consisted of (300) students, (180 female, and 120 male). Results indicated that the percentage of the students crises in a high, middle, and low levels is (46%), (37%), and (17%) consequently. The arrangements of sources crises as students see was: economical, educational, political, psychological, and sociological consequently. Also, the results showed that there were significant mean differences between the sources of crises scores among sex variable in favor of male students in economical, educational, and political crises, but it was in favor of female students in psychological, and sociological crises.
