Abstract

This study aimed at identifying the level of professional allegiance of academicsupervisors to Al-Quds Open University. The impact of some variablessuch as the professional position, years of experience, program, educationlevel, age on professional allegiance level for academic supervisors wereidentified.In conducting and constructing the study the researcher used the fielddescriptive methodology. The population of the study was all the academicsupervisors at Al- Quds Open University. totalling 177 academic supervisors.One tool was used to collect the data, and it was a questionnaire designedby the researchers. The questionnaire formad of(32) items, that cover threedimensions related to (allegiance to: the university, the learning process,colleagues).In order to analyze the data, the mean was measured, and a t-test and theone way anova were used. The results indicated that the level of professionalallegiance was extremely high (the mean level was 3.56). It was also concludedthat there were a statistically significant differences at the professional allegiancelevel with respect to the professional position among full time academicsupervisors of QOU, The results also indicated that there were no statisticallysignificant differences at the professional allegiance level with respect to theyears of experience, type of program, the educational level and age
