Abstract
This study aimed at investigating the attitudes of the academic supervisors at Al-Quds open university in Palestine towards the uses of the NET in education, as well as to identify if there are significant differences in the academic supervisors, attitudes towards the internet web and its applications in the university education at Al – Quds Open University which can be attributed to the variables of gender , academic qualification, academic program, occupational status , age , teaching experience and the amount of time of using the internet .The population of the study consisted of (162) supervisors working in Ramallah district, while the sample of the study consisted of all the population. The researcher designed a questionnaire which was given to all sample of the study, and he collected (142) of them (88%). The researcher used different statistical methods based on (SPSS) including percentages, the means, standard deviations, independent –t- test, one way Anova, as well as Cronbach Alpha formula. The results of the study indicated the following:1. The attitudes of the academic supervisors towards the uses of the NET at Al-Qudsopen university were totally positive in all domains (80.4%).2. The results showed significant differences at ( a= 0.05 ) regarding the attitudes of the supervisors towards the uses of the NET attributed to the following variables : sex , and years of experience.3. The results indicated no significant differences at (a=0.05) regarding the attitudes of the supervisors towards the uses of the NET that can be attributed to the variables of: academic qualification, professional status, the academic program, age, frequent use of the NET.
