Abstract

The study aimed at exploring the barriers of using E- learning facedby teachers in Irbid first Directorate of Education, to determine the effect ofgender, qualification and practical experience. The sample of the study was(186) teachers, (107 male teachers and 79 female teachers) . The researchersdeveloped a 28 item questionnaire. The appropriate statistical analyses wereused. The results showed that all the items of the instrument constituted barriersto e- learning, and there were statistical significant differences at the level ofstatistical significance (α= 0.05) in the average estimates of teachers on thetool of the study related to the barriers of e- learning that could be attributedto the variables of sex.. The results of the study showed that there were nosignificant statistical differences in e- learning barriers to the variables ofqualification, and years of experience.
