Abstract
This study aimed at discovering the effect of using the method of elearningin teaching Science on the achievement of learners at Al-QudsOpen University. The population of the study consisted of all the learnersat Al-Quds Open University in the second semester of the year 2008/2009traditional way. Research Methodology approached were : experimentaland descriptive. The ( T-test) & ( Man witeny-test ) were applied after thecollection of all data to detect the effect of using e-learning by comparing themeans of the achievement test and the e activities and the assignments for bothgroups: the experimental and the controlled. The results of the study showedthat there were statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≤ 0.05 )between the two groups in the achievement test and the e activities and theassignments in favor of the experimental group ,and there were statisticallysignificant differences between the two groups due to the gender variable, infavor of Famle .Yet there were no statistically significant differences between the twogroups due to the gender variable .
