Abstract
This research aimed to identify the impactof using Moodle to teach English course on theachievement of 3rd intermediate female studentsin Riyadh. The quasi - experimental approach wasused to achieve the objectives of the research. Anelectronic unit (Stories) has been designed onMoodle, in addition to an achievement test about theunit. The achievement test was applied on a sampleof (78) students divided into two equal groupsrandomly, one of them was the control group whostudied by the traditional way and the other was theexperimental group who studied by the traditionalway and electronic way (blended learning) ,andthat was in (6) sessions. This research found thefollowing result: There are differences of statisticalsignificance at the level of significance (0.05) inacademic achievement between the control group,and the experimental group, for the experimentalgroup. Based on the result, we can recommend thatMoodle should be integrated into the curriculum,and teachers and students should be trained touse it.
