Abstract

This study aimed to identify the level of cognitive dispersion and perceived self-efficacy among the mothers of primary stage students in Zarqa Governorate. It also sought to explore the nature of the relationship between cognitive dispersion and perceived self-efficacy among these mothers. The study sample consisted of 304 participants, who were selected using a simple random sampling method. To achieve the study's objectives, measures of cognitive dispersion and perceived self-efficacy were developed by the researcher for the current study after establishing the validity and reliability of these measures. The results indicated a statistically significant negative correlation between cognitive dispersion and self-efficacy, with a correlation coefficient of -0.68. The researcher recommends conducting further studies on cognitive dispersion and perceived self-efficacy among mothers of primary school students due to the scarcity of existing research on this topic.
